Read the case study .” This case examines Marie Jackson’s actions after she becomes the CEO of Renfield Farms during a period of sluggish growth and an organizational crisis. It focuses particularly on how she engages and leads a senior team in formulating a vision. After the vision statement is developed, Renfield has experienced some successes, but some inside the company remain skeptical, and the company’s structures and systems do not seem to support the new vision.
