How do we educate all children?
Part 1
Read part II of School. While reading and taking notes, you will complete the 4A’s Discussion Protocol. While reading, write down something you:
AGREE with in the section
ARGUE (disagree) with in the section
ASSUME (an assumption you have made or put upon by the author)
ASPIRE to in the section.
Once you determine the each of your “4A’s, write a paragraph to explain WHY you chose each one. So, four paragraphs in total (one for the AGREE, one for the ARGUE, one for ASSUME, and one for the ASPIRE). Save in a WORD document so you can copy and paste in the Discussion Forum.
*BOLD EACH OF YOUR 4 A’S AND INCLUDE THE PARAGRAPH BELOW EACH (NOT IN BOLD) SO IT IS CLEAR WHAT YOU HAVE CHOSEN.
Part 2
Reflecting on part II of the book. Think about the section and what you read. It should be 500-750 words. Use images, video, etc. Here are some guiding questions that you may consider as you create your post:
How do we educate all children? (foreign born, American born, rich, poor, etc)
Who does school benefit and who does it fail? Why do you think this is the case? Use evidence to back up your opinion
