Discuss the policy at hand, and give your argument(s) for the specific changes you see necessary to the policy.

Instructions
It is time to present your final testimony. Follow the steps below to complete this assignment.
Prepare your testimony. You will pretend that you are testifying in front of a committee of the legislative body most appropriate to your policy issue. Prepare and present no more than five minutes of testimony in support of your proposed policy changes outlined in Final Project Checkpoint assignments. Your testimony should follow this format:
Introduction: Who you are and who you represent
Body: Discuss the policy at hand, and give your argument(s) for the specific changes you see necessary to the policy.
Refute alternative suggestions, or potential arguments against your proposal.
Closing remarks: Sum up your proposal, and thank the committee.
Prepare to record your testimony by reviewing the Zoom Help Center Local Recording page (Links to an external site.) for more information about how to record using Zoom.
Record a presentation of your testimony and save the recording file.
On this assignment page, you will submit your written testimony. You will submit your recording as a starting point for this week’s discussion, so be sure to upload the Zoom file to the M7: Testimony Discussion (Link will open in new tab.) by the due date (Thursday).
