Determine an appropriate analysis to determine whether the program was effective.
The City of Milwaukee piloted a new crime reduction program last summer during the months of July, August, and September. The program used an experimental design to determine which areas in the city would receive the new crime prevention program and which would not receive the crime reduction program. You have data for each month for April through December. Your team needs to determine an appropriate analysis to determine whether the program was effective. Once you complete your analysis, write a short report outlining 1) the hypotheses you tested, 2) the analysis you utilized, 3) a short descriiption of why you used the analysis you did, 4) and your results (numbers and a descriiption should be presented).
As the experts, it is your job to decide how many hypotheses should be tested, how best to code your data, how best to analyze your data, and how to interpret your results.
A note on variable names: V=violent (i.e., April_V), P=property, D=drug, PS=public safety, PO=public order
You should not receive help from anyone outside of your group for this assignment, other than asking questions to the instructor. Any outside help will be considered academic misconduct and will result in an F on the assignment.
